Grand Finale And Gauhar Khan Takes Away Most Coveted Trophy!

And finally the fights have come to an end. The widely watched Bigg Boss7, winner of the Golden Petal award for the best reality show aired its last dhamaka episode on 28^th December 2013. Salman the host made a smashing entry, singing a song especially made for Bigg Boss 7 housemates. A tribute to the contestants, the song highlighted the crazy moments, the fights, situations that cropped up, the journey of all the housemates to the last 4 in the race towards the Bigg Boss 7 title.

Evicted contestants Eli Avram, Armaan Kohli, Kamyaa and Pratushya Banerjee entertained the audiences with dances from the host’s films. Eli danced to Mashala Mashala, while Armaan tried matching steps with Salman to Punjabi Munda. Kamyaa and Pratushya danced to Fevicol se while the host himself danced to Hud Hud Dabaang!! Welcoming the audience for the last time this season Salman called Andy onstage since he was the latest to be evicted before the final four Eijaz, Sangraam, Tanishaa and Gauhar were selected.

All the ex-contestants believe that the final two would be Gauhar and Tanishaa. While the votes are being counted Salman enters the big boss house to talk to the finalists. Everyone has had a wonderful journey in the house, with Sangraam and Tanishaa being there since day one, while Eijaz was a part of the house for 63 days. Gauhar felt Eijaz as a finalist was fair since he was a great entertainer and good actor. Eijaz felt he had an advantage because he had seen a few episodes before entering the house. Showing posters of old movies morphed with the contestants’ faces, Salman wants to know if they would agree to act in them.  The most talked about love story in this season was Armaan and Tanishaa. Both of them performed to Bhare More Naina and other songs.  Sania Irani from the new serial Rang Rasiya will air from Monday on Colors TV. The actors from the other serial Beintihaa also made an appearance on stage. Kushal and Armaan performed to a medely of songs.

The story of twists on top of twists doesn’t seem to abate with another twist in the final episode. Bigg Boss calls the finalists to the confession room, offering a cash prize to the person who hit the buzzer first. The finalist who did would immediately exit from the race to the final and walk away with the money.  None of the contestants take the bait and hit the buzzer. Andy felt they should have taken the money, while Kamyaa and Eli feel Eijaz should have taken the money. Salman plays a prank on the finalists and calls for Gauhar while in actuality Sangraam is the one to receive the lowest number of votes. Kushal Tandon and Gauhar Khan re-enact their love story again through songs for the audiences one last time. Eli Avaram danced to a medley of songs.

Eijaz was the last one to be evicted from the Bigg boss house. The finalists are Gauhar and Tanishaa. Eijaz, Andy and Sangraam perform to Pungi Baja kar.  With a lot of dilly dally, Salman announces Gauhar to be the winner of Bigg Boss 7.

Midweek and weekend evictions, Bigg Boss has thrown surprises on the inmates in the house over the last 100 days. Salman in the studio as usual created quite a furore.

The final week has arrived and the housemate to become the winner is 7 days away from the coveted title. The final five contestants have been selected on Saturday 21^st December.

Kushal was evicted on Wednesday at night while Armaan was the latest evictee for the weekend. Both the girls Tanishaa and Gauhar are saddened by the public verdict, but resilient too. The girl duo is now gearing up to play against the most unlikely trio of Eijaz, Sangram and Andy.

There have been a few tiffs but the most noticeable is the one between Gauhar and Eijaz. Eijaz in the house is up to his antics, and does everything for the love of the camera. While Gauhar has now lost her patience with his antics, she is quite vocal about her displeasure when Salman was in the studios on Saturday. Eijaz tries to pacify her, but concedes defeat to her repeated requests. Sangraam feels he should have been more vocal about his opinion regarding the other housemates. Yet he has no regrets and is quite happy being one of the finalists for Bigg Boss this season. Out of the contestants nominated for eviction Tanishaa and Gauhar are saved by the public and Andy danced when he was told he was one of the finalists. The only lady to feel sad with her ticket was Tanishaa as Armaan was evicted from the house.

Sunday saw Salman dancing to the song Kabhi Aar, Kabhi Par and Dhinka Chicka from his own movie. The dance troupe bids a farewell to the audiences as it is their last show for this season of Bigg Boss. Salman wishes them luck and enters the big boss house through me TV.  Salman plays the evergreen game rapid fire with the contestants. The answers given by each of the contestants are quite hilarious, while maybe a tad predictable. The friction between each of the contestants is very evident; however it’s obvious also that close proximity has made them friends for the time being too. Siddharth Malhotra of the Student of the year fame and Parineeti Chopra were on the sets of Bigg Boss with Salman to promote their film Hasee Toh Phasee.

Siddharth and Parineeti confessed to following the Bigg Boss show, and liking it a lot.  According to Parineeti it is one of the shows that showcase human behaviour honestly, and that the episodes are not staged. Both the actors felt Sangram and Andy were strong contenders for the title. Once in the Bigg boss house Salman asks each contestant to try their best to make Parineeti laugh. Gauhar is able to make her smile while Andy manages to make Parineeti laugh with his song Aloo bade ka ra re. Armaan and Kushal the newest evictees come back to the Bigg Boss house for the last time. While Armaan wishes everyone and prays for Tanishaa to win the title, Kushal tries to warn off Eijaz who tells him off. Watching clips of their entire journey both the evictees exit the show.
